Human in the loop, with AI helping along the way
A lot of government technology vendors will tell you that they use AI but won't tell you who's in the driver's seat. Hazel was built and remains steadfast in our human-in-the-loop philosophy:
Humans decide.
Hazel drafts, flags, and organizes. Procurement officers approve, score, and award. No requisition is auto-approved, no proposal auto-scored, no contract auto-awarded, ever.
Everything is auditable.
Every action in Hazel is timestamped and attributed to a user, including every question asked of the AI. The log is immutable and exportable, so your record holds up when an award gets challenged.
Your data is yours.
Your templates, your solicitations, and your records work for you and no one else. Nothing you put into Hazel trains a model, ours or our providers'.
We know that procurement runs on trust.
If you want to pressure-test any of this or hear more about our AI philosophy, bring your hardest questions to a demo.
